Department Grand Rounds Conference Schedule – Fall 2009/Winter 2009

The Mission of Internal Medicine Grand Rounds, a Category I CME, for the Winter/Spring season is to bring nationally recognized speakers who will discuss challenging and relevant subjects that span the breadth of Internal Medicine. Grand Rounds is often case-based with an evidence-based approach. An additional component of Internal Medicine Grand Rounds is the Clinico-Pathological Conference. Each month, a faculty member from each section will discuss a case of interest in an interactive, informative format. All Sections in the Department of Internal Medicine participate in this activity.

Learner Objectives: At the conclusion of this CME Activity, the learner should be better able to identify current clinical issues and develop a logical, up-to-date, and evidence-based approach to frequently encountered dilemmas in Internal Medicine.
