What is the optimum dose and duration of interferon therapy?
- Originally approved by the FDA at 3 MU SC TIW for 6 months.
- March, 1997: Recommended length of treatment increased to 12 to 24 months.
- Appears unlikely that higher doses give better response, but possibly longer duration?
